International Internships

Live, learn, & work abroad

At Jamestown Community College, you can complete an international internship and earn college credit while living and working abroad.

We have internship opportunities in:

  • Valladolid, Spain
  • Norrkoping, Sweden

To get started, you can submit the Career Services Interest Form.

Steps for International Internships

Completing an internship in another country is an exciting experience. To prepare for your trip abroad, you will work with both the Career Services office and Global Learning office.

  1. Fill out the Career Services interest form to let us know that you are interested in an international internship. It’s also a great way for you to share a little more about yourself. We will reach out to you to talk about opportunities.
  2. Complete the international internship application and letters of recommendation specific to where you want to complete your internship.
  3. Career Services will follow up with you to schedule an initial interview with the faculty mentor overseeing the internship and an interview with the site supervisor as needed. Be sure to check your JCC email regularly to see when the interview will be.
  4. Since this internship will take you abroad, you will work with the Global Learning office to finish preparing for your trip.
