Pre-college Enrollment Program

Experience college while you are in high school

The Pre-college Enrollment Program (PEP) at Jamestown Community College is open to all high school students, including homeschooled students. You can enroll in up to 11 credit hours at either the Jamestown or Cattaraugus County Campus locations, the North County Center in Dunkirk, or online.

PEP students get a head start on their college education while in high school with all the benefits of a full-time college student. As a PEP student, you:

  • Have the option to participate in extracurricular and academic activities.
  • Can use facilities on campus, including the gym and library.
  • Have the ability to join groups and clubs to integrate with college life.
  • Have the option to attend special events hosted by JCC.

The PEP grant offers students up to $700* off their tuition each semester. This means you can apply for the grant each semester for another discount on your tuition.

*PEP covers half the cost of one course per semester or up to $700 of two or more courses per semester.

Register for courses through PEP

If you have applied to JCC, you will use the same username and password to log in and complete the PEP application. Applications are due one week prior to the start of classes. Applications received after that date will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Eligibility
  • Open to current high school students 15 and older by the start of the class.
  • Must be enrolled in at least one class at a high school or be homeschooled. (High school seniors may still utilize the PEP grant in the summer term following high school graduation.)
