Making JCC media & content accessible
Jamestown Community College is committed to the creation of accessible media in our marketing and communications. We design and produce content in accordance with industry standard accessibility practices and the SUNY Electronic and Information Technology Accessibility plan. As best practices and standards evolve, our requirements will also evolve.
Content that is provided to Marketing and Communications for use in JCC media must follow accessibility standards. If provided content is not accessible, it will not be used.
PDFs submitted for website use will not be used if they are not made accessible. Please prepare your PDFs for accessibility before submitting.
Forms & instructions

- Do not include flashing content. If content is animated (passes through time), the user must be able to halt the timing.
Images
- Include alternative text with images to describe what is occurring in the image.
- Do not only have text in the image.
