Holistic personal support
College can be overwhelming. At Jamestown Community College, our counselors provide holistic personal support to help students overcome barriers to their success. JCC counselors are trained to assist you in identifying, understanding, and developing skills to address your personal problems.
We can help you:
- Improve your self-confidence, assertiveness, and self-esteem
- Cope more effectively with stress
- Develop stronger relationships with faculty, peers, family
- Overcome procrastination or other self-defeating habits and behaviors
If a student presents with anxiety, depression, PTSD, or other mental health issues, we connect the student with our partnership and community resources. We believe that being able to access the numerous community resources available will serve you both while you are at JCC and for life.
