About the space
The Physical Education Complex includes multiple spaces for students, employees, and community members:
- Athletic training room for sports injury care
- Batting cages with turf and pitching machines
- Diethrick Park stadium and soccer field (outside)
- Downstairs Total Fitness Center and upstairs weights area with machines and free weights
- Gym floor serving as home court for Jayhawks Athletics as well as other JCC events
- Indoor competition pool and aquatic center
- Multi-lane track
- Sport Management classroom featuring signed posters and photos from sport industry professionals
- Wrestling practice room
