Southern Tier Biennial exhibitions celebrate the vitality and diversity of contemporary art in the Southern Tier region, which includes the counties of Allegany, Broome, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Chemung, Steuben, Schuyler, Tioga, and Tompkins.

The professionally juried contemporary art exhibition was founded in 2003 to make a measurable and positive difference for rural artists.

A free session, open to the public, helps participants recognize the signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose and how to administer naloxone (Narcan).

Narcan, the brand name for naloxone, is a medication that can be administered as a nasal spray by first responders and others to someone who is experiencing an opiate or heroin crisis. Friends, family, and other bystanders who have Narcan and are trained in its administration can save the life of someone at risk of an opioid overdose.

Join in the dedication of the student veterans' lounge in memory of Fred Moricca with Club Valor members and others.

Fred, who died in 2017, was an employment development specialist and counselor at JCC. He also served as an advisor to Club Valor.

Refreshments are served.
