Study-In Extended Learning Hours

The Learning Commons will have extended hours until 10 p.m. during which students can participate in tutor-led study groups or 1:1 tutoring. The campus reference librarian will be available for research and citation assistance. Students can also come to study on their own. Pizza and snacks will be available beginning at 6 p.m.

Board of Trustees' Committee Meetings

The Board of Trustees’ Committee Meetings will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022, in the boardrooms of the Jamestown and Cattaraugus County Campuses, and North County Extension Center.

Committee schedule is as follows: 

3 p.m. — Human Resources Committee

3:30 p.m. — Finance and Audit Committee

4 p.m. — Cattaraugus County Campus Ad Hoc Revitalization Committee

My Service Experience: A Sharing from Three Local Veterans in Honor of Veterans Day

To commemorate Veterans Day, JCC's Cattaraugus County Campus is hosting a panel discussion featuring three area veterans who have served in the United States military.

Discussions are scheduled for 12:30-1:45 p.m. and 6:30-7:45 p.m. in Cutco Theater. They are free to attend and open to the public.

The presentations are sponsored by the Olean African American Center for Cultural Development.

Heart of Olean Mural Dedication Ceremony

"Vantage Point: Our Valley of the Sun," created by world-renowned mural artist Meg Saligman will be dedicated during this ceremony. More than 25 artists and 1,000 community members have contributed to this four-sided, exterior installation, which pays tribute to the college and Olean community.
