SUNY JCC Welcomes New Faculty Members for 2023-24

SUNY Jamestown Community College recently welcomed seven new full-time faculty for the 2023-24 academic year.

Sabrina Dahlin is a Nursing instructor on the Jamestown Campus. Dahlin is completing a master’s degree in Nursing from SUNY Delhi and earned a bachelor’s in Nursing from DeSales University. Dahlin comes to JCC from the Visiting Nursing Association of WNY, with a background in inpatient acute care nursing. Dahlin was previously an adjunct at JCC and Duke University.

Kari Dundore-Shrout is a Biology instructor on the Jamestown Campus. Dundore-Shrout has a master’s in Secondary Science Education from Edinboro University and a bachelor’s in Biology from Juniata College. Dundore-Shrout comes to JCC from Mercyhurst University, where she taught biology.

Dr. Arnaud Lambert is an associate professor of Anthropology/Sociology on the Cattaraugus County Campus and supports curriculum on the Jamestown Campus. Lambert has a Ph.D. in Anthropology from Brandeis University, a master’s in Anthropology from the University of Iowa, and a bachelor’s in Anthropology from the University of Rhode Island. Lambert comes to JCC from Onondaga Community College, where he taught Anthropology. 

Ki Ho Park is an instructor of Digital Media and Design on the Jamestown Campus. Park has a master’s degree in Graphic Design from Louisiana State University and a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from the College of Visual Arts. Park comes to JCC from Salisbury University, where he taught Graphic Design. 

Michelle Richau is a Languages and Global Studies instructor on the Jamestown Campus. Richau has a master’s degree in Spanish Language Teaching from Southern Oregon University, a master’s in Education from Canisius College, and a bachelor’s in Secondary Spanish Education from Daemen College. Richau, a previous adjunct at JCC, comes from Frewsburg Central School, where she taught Spanish.

Lillian Truong is an instructor of Biology/Chemistry on the Jamestown Campus. Truong is pursuing a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Physiology from Albany Medical College and has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from SUNY Albany. Truong has experience as a teaching assistant and a graduate student lab supervisor in physiology at Albany Medical College.

Dawn Walton is the director of Libraries for all JCC locations. Walton has a master’s degree in Library Science from the University at Buffalo and a bachelor’s in English from Edinboro University. Walton joined JCC in June as digital resources manager and prior to that served as associate director for User Services and Assessment at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington Randall Library.
