OLEAN, N.Y. — SUNY Jamestown Community College Workforce Development is hosting a Joining Community Through Coffee event on Wednesday, Dec. 13 from 7:30 - 9 a.m. at the Cattaraugus County Campus Student Union in the College Center building.
This event is an opportunity for Olean area businesses to network, connect, and discuss ways to best support one another. After the success of the November Joining Community Through Coffee, JCC Workforce Development decided to offer this networking event on a monthly basis on the Cattaraugus County Campus.
“We want to know and understand the challenges business owners are struggling with,” explains Brianna Shay, coordinator of Innovation & Entrepreneurship at JCC. “We want this event to provide an opportunity to network, solve a similar problem, and possibly collaborate together!”
With the support from the Small Business Development Center, JCC has resources to help new businesses launch and small businesses grow. Through some pending grants, JCC hopes to also provide physical space and equipment to Olean area businesses needing assistance.
Joining Community Through Coffee is open to all small business owners and members of the Olean area and surrounding community. There is no cost to attend.
