JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — SUNY Jamestown Community College’s Jazz Fest 2025 will feature a performance from the Dave Golando Quintet. The concert is free and open to the public and scheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday, April 25 at the Jamestown Campus Scharmann Theatre.

The Dave Golando Quintet is made up of some of Western New York's top musicians, including Dave Golando on saxophone, Mark Filsinger on trumpet, Joe Baudo on piano, Marc Cousins on bass, and Carl Alanakien on drums.

“The quintet will perform music ranging from jazz standards to more progressive jazz and everywhere in between,” said Neil Flory, JCC associate Music professor.

The Chautauqua Student All-Stars – “a group of some of the finest student musicians around,” Flory said – are also scheduled to perform.

The concert will also be live streamed for those who cannot attend. The live stream link can be found on the Jazz Fest 2025 events calendar page.
