OLEAN, N.Y. – Retirees seeking guidance on managing their finances, planning for health care costs, and ensuring a financially secure future are invited to attend the upcoming Rejuvenate Your Retirement educational course at SUNY Jamestown Community College.
The program will be held at the Cattaraugus County Camous Manufacturing Technology Institute,129 Hamilton St., Olean. The two-session course is available on Tuesdays, April 29 and May 6, or Wednesdays, April 30 and May 7 from 1 to 3 p.m.
Designed for retirees age 65 and older, the course covers essential topics, including retirement income planning, Social Security strategies, tax-efficient withdrawals, health care and long-term care planning, estate planning, and investment management. Attendees will receive a comprehensive course textbook, which will serve as a valuable reference tool.
Classes are led by Mark Hendrix, an experienced certified financial planner and investment adviser representative. Hendrix is a registered representative with Cetera Advisor Networks. With a strong background in financial planning, Hendrix specializes in helping retirees navigate the complexities of financial decision-making to achieve a comfortable and secure retirement.
Attendees will have the opportunity to schedule an optional, complimentary consultation with the instructor to discuss personal financial concerns.
Tuition is $50, which includes a textbook. A spouse or partner may attend at no additional cost.
