Presale tickets for the Chautauqua County Fair are available through July 15 at SUNY Jamestown Community College’s North County Center main office located at 10807 Bennett Road in Dunkirk.
The presale cost for general admission is $10 each and will increase to $15 at the gate. Wende Lescynski, director of Adult Learner initiatives and the North County Center, says that anyone coming to the center to purchase fair tickets is also welcome to learn more about programs available through JCC while they are there.
“Tours of the North County Center are available for those who would like to know about our academic and Advanced Manufacturing programs,” said Lescynski. “We encourage everyone to stop by and see how easy it is to learn where you live.”
The North County Center is open from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on Fridays. The JCC site offers a full range of services including assistance with admissions, financial aid, registration, Success Center services, accessibility support, tutoring, placement testing, computer labs, cultural and recreational activities. The North County Center offers credit and non-credit courses in personal enrichment, professional development, skill upgrades, business, and industry-customized training.
“Just like the fair, JCC is a place where people can create memories and friendships to last a lifetime,” Lescynski said. “We're building community, and everyone is welcome here.”
