OLEAN, N.Y. — Children and families are invited to a free showing of the movie “If” at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 29 at Cutco Theater on the Cattaraugus County Campus of SUNY Jamestown Community College.

Free tickets can be reserved online here. Popcorn and water will be provided at no cost and treats from the new Hatch Café will be available for purchase.

Cutco Theater is outfitted with a 165-inch video wall that was installed in 2022 as part of major renovations to the space.

"If" follows 12-year-old Bea, who moves into her grandmother Margaret's apartment while her father undergoes heart surgery. Bea discovers a world of imaginary friends, IFs, who have been forgotten as their original children grew up. Teaming up with Cal, a man who works with IFs, Bea embarks on a journey to help these creatures find new children or reunite with their original companions.

Released in 2024, “If” features performances by Cailey Fleming, Ryan Reynolds, and John Krasinski, with voice roles from Steve Carell, George Clooney, Matt Damon, Blake Lively, Bradley Cooper, Bill Hader, and Amy Schumer, among others.
