Nursing (Gannon University)

Guarantees acceptance of JCC students who graduate with an AAS Nursing degree and a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.7 and who also meet Gannon’s conduct standards in regard to known behavioral problems. JCC students who transfer a minimum of 60 stipulated credit hours can fulfill BSN degree requirements online in two years with Gannon. Gannon will accept toward meeting BSN degree requirements all 64 JCC credit hours required for the AAS Nursing degree in which a minimum grade of C was earned. Students can also transfer additional stipulated JCC coursework toward meeting additional BSN degree requirements, up to a total of 98 transferred JCC credit hours. All RN to BSN students must complete a minimum of 30 institutional credits through Gannon. Registered nurses with specific experience in community health, leadership roles, and political/social action activities may qualify for portfolio credit from Gannon. (latest update 2018)
