Interdisciplinary and Multidisciplinary Studies (SUNY Empire State College)

Guarantees acceptance of students who graduate with a JCC associate’s degree, and who also meet published Empire State admission requirements, into their choice of an Empire State bachelor’s degree program in Accounting; Addictions Counseling; Allied Health; The Arts; Business Administration; Community and Human Services; Cultural Studies; Educational Studies; Historical Studies; Human Development; Human Resource Management; Interdisciplinary and Multidisciplinary Studies; Labor Studies; Management; Nursing; Psychology; Public Affairs; Science, Mathematics and Technology; Security Studies; or Social Science. All courses required for the associate’s degree will be applied toward meeting requirements for any specified parallel bachelor’s degree. With advising from Empire State, students can transfer 79 JCC credits toward meeting requirements for the bachelor’s degree, leaving 45 credits of the 124-credit bachelor’s degree to be completed with Empire State.
