The Career Advantage program is taught in a cohort model, and it is mapped out for two years so you know when and where your classes meet. All the courses you need for graduation are offered in the Career Advantage program.

Cohort model and schedules

Taught in a cohort model, you learn with adults who, like you, are pursuing their degrees while balancing work and personal commitments. Together, you take the same courses and support each other throughout the degree program. Faculty and staff help you to ensure your success, from admission and registration to using technology and campus resources.

  • Time off is built into the program so you can schedule vacations and other activities.
  • You take two courses at a time, one night per week. The rest of the week, you work online with your instructors and classmates to complete required coursework.
  • Most classes meet for seven weeks. You will also take a one-credit online course that spans the 15-week semester.
  • A program facilitator will help you get started and navigate college processes, so you can concentrate on your coursework.
