JCC at a glance
Founded in 1950 as a predominantly transfer, liberal arts-oriented institution, Jamestown Community College was the first locally sponsored SUNY public community college and is now one of 30 community colleges within the 64-member SUNY system.
JCC has grown from its original location within the Jamestown High School building and an enrollment of 169 students into a multi-campus institution. JCC has two campuses and two extension sites and offers courses in high schools throughout the region.
- The Jamestown Campus (1950) is located 80 miles south of Buffalo on a 107-acre site in Jamestown, NY.
- The Cattaraugus County Campus (1976) is located 50 miles east of Jamestown in Olean, NY.
- The North County Center is located 30 miles north of Jamestown in Dunkirk, NY.
- The Warren Center (1987) is located in North Warren, PA.
