Fall musical: Come from Away

Poe's classic short story will be brought to life with creative techniques and passion. It will be an experience not to miss.

September 2026 Jamestown Dance Festival

For the second year in a row, JCC and the Scharmann Theatre have partnered with Sukanya Burman Dance to host the Jamestown Dance Festival (JDF). The JDF has quickly emerged as one of the region’s most unique arts experiences, celebrating dance as a global, interdisciplinary, and community-centered art form. Now entering its third year, the festival continues to expand both in scale and ambition, presenting five days of world-class performances, workshops, film screenings, artist talks, and community engagement opportunities across multiple venues throughout Jamestown.

About Scharmann Theatre

The Scharmann Theatre is a 374-seat venue for the performing arts in the Sheldon Center on the Jamestown Campus of Jamestown Community College. Yearly programming includes:

  • Performances and auditions (plays, devised performances, musicals, concerts)
  • Workshops (playwriting, acting, devised theatre, improv, play development)
